I hate to seem obtuse, but what's OBX?

    1952 Champion Starlight since October,1971. 1962 Daytona
    since May, 2007.Searcy,Arkansas
    "In the heart of Arkansas."
    Searcy, Arkansas
    1952 Commander 2 door. Really fine 259.

I was wondering the same thing. Why do people use acronyms without consideration of the people they're talking to?[xx(]

OBX stands for the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Don't know of anything going on down there though, except lots of people and girls in bikinis!

Go to this site and see what car shows there are in the area:

60 people in one house? Does the owner of the house know this? A friend of mine has a 5 bedroom, 6 bathroom rental house on Holden Beach, NC and he limits his occupancy to 15 people.

Only ever saw one Studebaker in all the years we went down to OBX. A few years ago a man living in Hatteras village had a '65 Commander which was his one and only driver. It was pretty decent- V-8 w/air. I haven't seen it for several years. It may have been caught when Hatteras Village flooded in one of the hurricanes or Nor'easters.
