CASO = Cheap A$$ Studebaker Owner.
I'm not sure why the BIN is viewed as such a bargain
Old Car Price Guide lists a #3 57 Golden Hawk at $12,600.
A #3 is (abbreviated)...
VERY GOOD...Completely operable original or older restoration showing wear. From 20' away it may look perfect. In general, most of the vehicles seen at car shows are #3'sDick Steinkamp

It's a term of -ahem- "endearment" attesting to the characteristic frugality of Studebaker enthusiasts. BPWe've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

Maybe it didn't sell. I noticed that it was listed under parts for sale and not cars for sale. Perhaps eBay pulled the listing as incorrectly submitted.Gary L.

apparently, the link is working again and the auction is moved into the "Studebaker" sale category. The buy it now is no longer there and the reserve must have been met. As I type this, there is over 7 hours left for the auction with the current bid at $13,950.00.
The seller has done a good job of describing the vehicle. If you are handy with mechanical, body, and upholstery work...this could be the car of your dreams. If you have to pay someone else to do the work...you'll need to be well-funded and really want the car. Best of luck to the high bidder.John Clary
