Has anyone started a registry for the 1957 Golden Hawk? There are threads for the '56 Hawk and the '55 Speedster which provide a great deal of information. The '57 Golden Hawk pictured is Vin # 6100555, Body Type: 57H-K7 517. I don't know too much on its origin. I think Don Brumley (Indiana) did the resotoration, and Richard Copeland (Arkansas) purchased the the vehicle. The vehicle is now in Missouri.

To: cdevan,------I agree with mike super.....Go For It! I remember years ago a fellow by the name of Vince Habel had a '57 Golden Hawk Roster going....but I'm talking MANY years ago! By the way cdevan, I'm not sure if
Your '55 Speedster is in the Speedster Roster Index or not. Would You mind sending along the serial/body #'s? Thanks very much

Since there is no official '57 Golden Hawk Registry - I will glad to be the keeper of the information, so anyone who has a '57 Golden Hawk please send Body type and Vin# and a photo to me and I will maintain the numbers. ThanksCurt Devan

Just a thought ...
...as you likely know, only a fraction of SDC Members are on this Forum. You may try placing monthly Ads in our fine TURNING WHEELS magazine under the "STUDE MISCELLANY" classification as the 1956 Golden Hawk Register does and where perhaps 11,000 SDC Members will see it.Last edited by Welcome; 03-20-2012, 11:26 AM.

I always wondered why there was not a registry for '57 Golden Hawks. I always see the figure of 400 survivors floating around. I'll take the over. I'll send you my info this weekend. Thanks for being a Leader!'57 Silver Hawk

Bob,
I posted my '57 Golden Hawk to the '57 Registry at http://www.1956goldenhawk.com/57gh/index.htm. Is there a way to see a listing of all Golden Hawks? How many are still on the road and running? Which state or states have the largest number of GH's?
Thank you
