  • My 4th of July inspiration...

I'm a patriot every day of the year, but I though now was a good time to share a picture of my recently rebuilt (and almost completely reinstalled) 170 cid Champion engine. This engine should answer once and for all the question "Who made Studebakers? Is that an American car?"

Happy 4th of July to all, and enjoy your freedoms.

WOW! That is a Star Spangled Banner!

            Looks Great!

I also love that finned aluminum head on the engine.

Wow Paul, talk about a nice engine bay! I'm envious of that little dual carbed, aluminum-headed power plant you got there!

Thanks, Matthew, not exactly stock, but Darn it, it's definitely an American car!
