Black T cab trucks?

I was thinking about T cab pickups that I have seen and realized that I cannot remember a black one. Does anyone have a picture of a shiny black T cab. I have seen some semi gloss or flat black ones. Was black available?

Was the '64 ('63?) R-2 powered T-cab built for Paxton Products painted black?

Yes there was a R powered T cab produced ,painted black

Might have had to have been in Mennonite country to see many black Champ pickups... cannot remember seeing an original one myself.

My 61 Champ is black- original according to the production order.

I bought a black t cab truck at a farm auction a few years ago, long wheelbase,with lots of options including a 5 speed trans. Its a rusty mess but would of been a nice looking rig when new.

One of our chapter members has a black Champ truck here in Southern Oregon.

The obvious reason that Black Trucks are rare, is that since Trucks were built to "USE" for hauling and Black shows every scratch, nick, chip, dirt and speck of dust, no one would want that on their work Truck.

Possibly true, but there were lots of black pickups from the late 40s into the mid 50s. I wonder if it just went out of style and people opted for other colors.
