I don't know how to alert e-bay, maybe someone else can. this guy always wants you to bid "off-line" and not go through e-bay, blames his slow network connection.

At the bottom of the eBay listing under "Other options" is "Report this item".

You click on it and it asks you questions. After doing all that you click on "contact eBay" and the item number comes up and you just send it to eBay.

I just did it on this one.

Geez...it was quiet for 2 weeks and now they are out
again! The actual process is easy, once you get to
understand their (eBay's) system of reporting....This
will give me something else to look for today...

Why do you assume the guy is a thief?

He wants to screen bidders prior to their bids...he told me as much..let's not tar-n-feather the guy because he is cautious.

He's a thief because he listed a dozen cars he does not own and quoting a asking price for a off ebay Buy it Now. He'll ask that you either wire the money or send it to a fake ebay escrow account and kiss your money goodbye. I had to call ebay for a few dozen auctions just like it. Apparently there are a few ebay'ers that at least send him a deposit to hold the "deal". I like the fact that this group helps police ebay.

If you haven't noticed, each time he lists this car and all
the others that he has under different "makes" the Ebay seller
ID is always different, from the previous attempts, and always
100% in customer satisfaction. Plus the location of the car
changes....so those are just couple of give aways....to be on
the watch for....

Wow,

Guess I'm too honest a person!

Why does e-bay allow this?

Ebay can't stop it. There are 1000's of item added every hour and they need the members to help police the listings. The crook that list the stuff use valid user information that they trick folks into giving up.

Looks like they are back at it hawking this car with this line "my eBay e-mail address is full and i can't receive any new e-mail". Now who is going to fall for that????? It is also interesting that the seller is "chriscashonline84" and the e-mail goes to "mikilopez45".

That teal starlight coupe - funny I know who owns/is selling that, and the picture is taken in Boulder City NV, while the "seller" says the location is San Jose, CA. This is a rip-off of a legitimate seller's ad.

I never make a major purchase off ebay unless I can see and touch the car. Too many rip offs now, they don't own the car or it is not what they explain in the ad. One almost got me about a year ago.
Small stuff/parts are not a problem.

I think you're all just a little jealous that you missed out on the coupe! HAH! Beat you all to it! Just wired him the money, and he says he's delivering it personally in his climate-controlled enclosed hauler right to my door- I offered him $800 extra to do so, and he said yes, just b/c I'm such a nice guy! I wired the extra before he changed his mind...

Sorry guys- you snooze, you lose! My first drive is going to be to Jay Leno's top-secret collection, right in Upstate NY! Bet you didn't even know about it, did you? The seller is close friends with Jay, and says he'll arrange it when he gets here with the car- NO EXTRA CHARGE.

NOW who's the dummy?!?

Already been there at least 4 times today...takes awhile. But at 1
point, it was listed twice, with 2 different Seller id's, at the same
time....with the same other items listed posted as well. Don't know
why the single listing is still there....must be the lack of staff at
ebay to do anything quickly at night, so I will give it another shot
