My father bought new Larks in '61, a convertible, and '63, a Daytona hardtop. During the 70s and 80s, I had 2 Hawks (one of them made into a convertible), a '63 R2 Avanti, a '64 Lark sedan, and a '67 Avanti II.
Recently, I purchased a '63 Lark Daytona hardtop, in the same outside color, champagne gold, that my Dad's was. Plan is to keep it stock mechanically and make some mild custom touches to the exterior and drive it in nice weather. It will also need some bodywork. One item I'd like to track down is a source for a pair of fender skirts. I've seen some on the web on '62/'63 Larks in Australia. Anyone know where to find them? Click image for larger version

I can not help you with the fender skirts, but big welcome to the site. It is very cool that you have a Lark the same color as your Pops. Post up some pics when you get a chance. Have fun here, great people.
