  • Special edition Hawk

I've heard Hawks call a bunch of different things, but this is a first!

We have an old Studebaker. We think it is a Golden Nighthawk but we are not sure. The engine ran about 10 years ago. My wife's Grandfather bought it to fix up for her. He got sick and was never able to finish it up. We do not have the registration on it. We are looking to sale it for parts or we will entertain an offer on the whole vehicle. Please email back or contact Scottie at 910-231-6161.

Hey, can't talk to bad about the seller (even though Golden Nighthawk is pretty far "out there"...). They probably aren't familiar with Studebaker's and the name "Golden Hawk" is by far the most recognised of all Studebaker names. (Just ask about any random guy at a car show what the first name is that comes to his head when he thinks of Studebaker.) It looks like the Gran Turismo scrips are missing from the doors, so I doubt the seller would know the correct name. At least this one is for sale instead of getting flattened and headed to Japan to become a Toyota...

With the side windows down, there may be an endangered Golden Nighthawk nesting inside this 1962 Gran Turismo Hawk. Be careful as the bird may be protecting its young.

Sorry to hear that; it has performed quite well for our purposes. (Then again, we haven't ever been accused of keeping things completely original, or only buying store ammo...)
