Well, the base would not have fit the production GT grille shell. Let's see the drawings for future Hawks. Can't remember what they had planned.
Wonder how the bird is attached to the hoop.
Is this a GM hoop and base?KURTRUK

It makes more sense that it was a prototype for the '66 Lark Types that were built with Hawk Emblems on the Engine I.D. Badges, Grille, Door Panels, Wheel Covers, Dash etc.
OR, the Brooks Stevens actual prototype Cars.
It was definately made in very limited quantity, I believe Mr. Biggs had one once.
The base is very much like the '62 & '63 Lark.StudeRich
