Is this the same Avanti I saw clock 178 MPH at Lake El Mirage dry lake several years ago? I was impressed. Later on I talked with the driver and he told me that before the rules were changed he was in the 190's. Boy, was it a hot day. 105 degrees in the shade if you could find any.

You are seeing the percentages of votes not the number of votes. It will take a great many votes to get ahead of the Dodges percentage of votes.

Unless the Studebaker Club gets busy voting the Avanti will finish 2nd.

Tuesday is the last day to vote.

If the Avanti should win, it along with the winners of the next 11 months will be put up for another vote to determine the grand winner of the year. I do not know what the prizes will be for the monthly winners or for the grand prize.
