  • 64 Commander in San Bernardino

I was at the Pick-A-Part in San Bernardino today & saw a 64 commander 4 door sitting there. Looked to have had some stuff off of it already but thought I'd let all know in case there was anyone nearby that could use something.

Unusual car in that it is(?) a 6 cylinder/auto with split reclining front seat & quad headlamps. The grille & one of the headlamp doors was off but still there as was all the sheet metal sans hood. Seats were all torn but the center bracket was still there. Front wiring had been cut up, the dash base was there but the instrument cluster & dash pad were long gone. Ironically the glove box liner looked almost new. The only rust I saw was in the rear corners of the trunk & slight bubbling on the lower rear corner of the front doors. Alternator was gone but the rest of the engine was intact.
