Someone put the wrong illustration into my Studebaker repair manual under the section titled ....

"How to evacuate the gas tank ..."

Bob Palma in his home office, where all Co-Operator columns are compiled.

I'll guess that it's a bathroom in one of the former Studebaker Corp. buildings.

Anyone who would do that with pants on either needs a lesson in cleanliness or is wearing a diaper. As for Stude related, never saw a throne like that in any of MY Studebakers!

It's that Bob Palma, Palmer, Pallimer guy. As to the where, I'll guess the Studebaker Administration Building in South Bend, as to what Bob is doing I am NOT going there!

Oh, the caption, ah... relieving some Fuel Pressure?

Vapor lock can cause you to STALL. Whatever you do - don't get caught with your pants down.

Now that is one crappy photo!

Personally, I detect a subtle retaliation for my Post #3 in this topic:

Off to plot my next strike.... <GGG> BP
