  • The hill holder clutch

I've often wondered about the hill holder that Studie had. What are the mechanics of it?

Simply put, when you stopped on a hill, a caged steel ball in the HH unit rolled back and plugged the brake line; just gravity.
When the clutch pedal was released the caged ball would be pushed forward to allow the brake fluid return.

They work just great when properly adjusted.

I have an NOS unit for a late model firewall mounted master cylinder. Even has the instruction sheet. I paid $350 and never used it. Anyone want it? Make me an offer.
