  • Nice-looking '54 Land Cruiser in Phoenix

    Here's the link:

Opening bid too high, I think. Nice looking car. And I've always thought these dashes were some of the prettiest ever made, especially for a '50's vintage sedan.

Wonderful dash and car but I agree with Clark, the $8,500 starting bid tends to be a bit off-putting, especially for thrifty Studebaker collectors.

The car looks like its worth the money to me! If the seller is telling the truth most of the work has been done and you probably couldn't do all that work for that money. Most of the upholstery shops want 3,000 to 4,000 dollars to do an interior, Probably 3,000 to 5,000 dollars for bodywork and paint. It adds up quick. Just my opinion for what its worth[?]

Pretty car. Pretty rare one too - with that factory 259.[}] It isn't $8500 pretty tho. Not to my eye. and certainly he was having a moment of delirium when he whipped up that BIN figure.
Nice car (at least from what the photos let us see), but it suffers from too many doors to get an opening bid like that.[:0]

That one's probably got a better shot at what the guy's opening the bidding at - BUT - he can't hope to START the bidding at $7,750.[xx(] Feedback of (2) tho. He's got some learning curve to deal with.
