  • M5 Fenders Black or body color?

    So whats the spec?..I have seen different versions,were black fenders the option or the norm?

    I think the black fenders were from the bigger trucks , pickups came in body color.Most big trucks were red with black fenders.

      I like the look of them both ways!
      I especially like pick ups with the rears mounted on opposite sides.

        At first black was stock, body color was optional. After awhile body color was made standard. I don't know when the change was made.

          Yes. fenders painted same as body were an extra option. It was of lower cost to maintain a stock of black fenders good for any color instead of smaller stocks of every color. Nevertheless I find that black fenders are more "classy".
