Lots of exposure of that Lark convert on tonights episode, more than previous episodes. I also spotted a green Champ pickup when the pilot and the pretty stewardess were buying produce at the market. No more new episodes until January 8th.sigpic

It's filmed in New York....that should be a clue.
Hard to believe anyone with that nice of car isn't a member...unless its owned by a classic car film rental agency (if those still exist, since productions seem to lease cars from owners directly nowdays).63 Avanti R1 2788

Our previous thread happened after the first episode showing the two scenes with the '62 Lark aired. We talked about how there are two Cars, or some mods done to one car between scenes.
The "side of the road scene" with the tire burnout, showed one steering wheel, and the "going through the tunnel" scene showed the other. One appeared to be Two-Tone Red/White, the other Red. Both scenes showed the '59 Lark Door Panels. Also one was a Regal and one was a Daytona.
In this episode I could see the non-Daytona side trim used on Bench Seat Regal Models.
I love seeing period cars on TV, because once in a while we actually get more than 10 seconds of Stude. exposure, as in this Show.StudeRich

Yes, this car surprised me with the Regal side trim. Engine sure sounds nice, and the way the actor wheeled it into parking suggests power steering

I've saved the episodes for some photo's of what we're talking about.
But was it my eyes or while the Stude is at the orchard and they are looking at bushels of apples a BLUE tailgate that looks to be a Champ with a Studebaker tailgate. Lettering is not real clear, I guess it could be a stamped Chevrolet, I'll leave it up to the experts to look at the tail light shape and tail gate chains for positive I.D.61 Lark
