My friend has an Avanti. Well since the single headlamp Jeep Liberty has been on the market he has been 'bloveating' about if he found a wreck he would fit those lamps into his Avanti.

Well the crazy sob has actually done it!

He located a wreck out of state and purchased a partial from clip.........he then had his brother in law who is a 40 yrs body man do the conversion...........they look great and I could see what the light appears like at night.

Motto.........it can be done.

A local Avanti owner installed the Jeep Liberty headlights a couple of years ago. They work, he likes them, said they cost less than two new OEM glass covers, rings, gaskets.

Threre is a minority opinion among the purists that they look "too modern" - not quite right to some eyes.
