The letters on the tail light on the car to the right seem to spell out Dodge. The tag appears to be IOWA 1940.
The happiest person in the picture is the girl in the hat looking through the window of the truck.

Yes, it's quite possible one of those is a Studebaker. I'm pretty sure at least one if not all five of the Studebaker brothers had children.
