      My first impression was that it looks more like a Chevy. Somehow it just doesn't look like a Stude. I could be wrong, but there are some real experts in the club.

          The letters on the tail light on the car to the right seem to spell out Dodge. The tag appears to be IOWA 1940.

          The happiest person in the picture is the girl in the hat looking through the window of the truck.

            Yes, Iowa 1940 would be most likely correct.

                I know Alice Chalmers I went to school with her but she didn't have a Studebaker.

                    Yes, it's quite possible one of those is a Studebaker. I'm pretty sure at least one if not all five of the Studebaker brothers had children. It's quite possible that one of those people is a Studebaker. Only a DNA test will tell. Probably have to dig 'em up though.
