Sly Stone's '63 GT Hawk

I'm at my Mom's for Thanksgiving so I only have limited Internet Access. Yesterday or the day before I saw a TV news article about Sly Stone (Sly & The Family Stone) who is now broke, homeless, and in terrible health. He lives in a van parked on a residential street. The only remnant of his vast wealth and fame is a gold '63 GT Hawk parked in front of the van.

I'm not in a position to research this right now (in fact they are yelling at me to get downstairs). Could someone follow up on this?
