At the Turkey Rod Run in Daytona at the speedway. 1000,s of cars. More Studebakers than you can shake a stick at! Have seen lots of old friends and some cool cars. Scored a few treasures already. The Stude Ladies fixed a great Thanksgiving dinner. Gonna be here all weekend. Last year when I went home,I owned another Studebaker. Who knows what this year holds?

This is the first year I've missed in several. I bought a Studemino there several years ago that Jack White now owns. Just got a phone pic from a friend who is there with whom I usually attend the meet. He had just bought a 1950 Chevrolet pick-up rod. The reason I didn't go this year is that I am going to try to attend more Studebaker oriented meets next year.

I wasn't able to go but if you see a trunk lid for a 46 Champion let me know and I'll figure a way to get there.

Lot's of familiar faces! Wish I could be there. I think I even see a GT Hawk owner that I've always called Grandma. I think I know the one in the cowboy hat, too.

The 1946 Champ sure is pretty.

Saw 1 really nice 49 Champion. 2dr. but didn't have a price on it. Mitchell said he saw another but I missed it.

I saw a really nice 49 2 door inside the track. Kind of a light green, chrome was all done, interior was very well done, looked like a very recent paint job. The price was $8,000.
