  • Old Champ, Old Houses

Who woulda thought that almost 50 years after Studebaker folded that their trucks would not only be on the road but used as daily workhorses? My "antique" is used to haul materials to antique houses. This week's project involved a house from 1779. Recently I did a tile job in a circa 1780 kitchen house. It's only fitting that a historic truck be parked in front of historic homes. Anybody else use their Stude for work?

Glad to know the truck is still busy and the steering box has kept it at it's job! Mine is not so much for work, but for hauling stuff to fix our somewhat old (1925) house.

My wagon will be a stainless trim hauler. If I need a truck, well, I already have one.

Pretty soon my Stude will be the best car my family has for towing.
