Since I am out of money to spend on my 52 Commander and the seats, while better than some, are not very pretty, I found some old aftermarket plaid seat covers that my friend had collected.
I bought some hog rings at Carlisle and went to an auto upholstry shop who had done some work for me before and he sold me some hog ring pliers for $5.00. I went home and went to work.
This is what the seats looked like before I covered them.
This is what they looked like after.
The hog rings hold the seat covers on.
It is interesting that these seat covers were made in Richmond, VA where I live.
This is a tag that I found on the seat spring.
