A lazy Sunday afternoon drive in my Roadster.

In the old Studebaker Museum (Freeman-Spicer building) in South Bend, there were two cars sitting side-by-side that always gave me the chills when I visited. One was a 1913 and the other a 1916. My mother was born in 1913 and my father in 1916. They were high school sweethearts, and were married for almost 57 years until my mother's passing.

It always tickled me to see those two vehicles parked together. All three of us visited the museum during one of the International Meets and Mom & Dad got a kick out of seeing the cars together. Unfortunately I have no pictures of them with the cars, although I do have a picture of the cars together taken at a later time.

Jim, here is a link to it on Youtube. Jim, you probably noticed in my sig. line that I own both 1913 and 1916 Studes. The 1913 is for sale at the moment and thinking maybe the 1916 as well in the near future.

Nice ride! Thanks Dave. The only things I noted was that 1: the steering wheel is on the wrong side <G> and 2: You were driving on the wrong side of the road! LOL I am the proud owner of a 1920 Light Six EJ Touring that someday will run again!

We do steel fabrication. Mostly smaller type structural steel factory frames around 10,000 square feet.
