Thanks for posting these pictures. I have always wanted to go to this show/festival. Now that I see these pics, I really want to go. Nice to see so many pre-War cars. They have mostly disappeared around my area unless they've been rodded.

I have often gone to Das Awkfescht in Macungie Pennsylvania, despite living in California. I even showed a car there in 2007 (since I had driven it to Dearborn Michigan the week before, so I continued east with some friends).
Afterward we all eat at that diner (bear something) across the street, before we drive home.
Great vendors. Lots of cars, and all stock. They don't do hot rods.
But this year the calendar didn't work out.
My other event ended on July 27, and Macungie wasn't until Aug 6 & 7. Too much time between, so I flew home.
Maybe next year the first full weekend in August will land closer to the first of the month.Comment
