  • Trying to find a modern Paint Code. See Example

The car on this link I want to match the color:
American Hot Rods is the best place to list your American Hot Rods. Sell on American Hot Rods for free! 50 images and photos of your american hot rods!

is posted all over the internet when you do a "58 studebaker golden hawk" search but when looking at paint codes - this was NOT a studebaker color. It's sort of a flat grayish blue. Looking through PPG books (Ditzler) I could not find it.

Well actually I did manage to find it under Willys Jeep colors for 1958 but here's a link with the closest color from 1950-51. Called Bermuda Blue #10432.
Take a look at this on the 3rd group. Spot on - great color!

The paint shop can't locate this in their electronic database and the small paint chip sample is too small for their matching camera.
Any chance someone knows who owns or painted this car?
Any ideas would surly be appreciated as we are ready for paint. Thanks!

    Ches in SD.

Can't really tell much from a photo put up on the Internet, but it kind of reminds me of the 1956 Studebaker color CAMBRIDGE GRAY.
