About the 6th of Sept I will be leaving California on my way to St. Paul for a class reunion of sorts it is the year we all turn 70. after that we leave and go the Troy, Mi. and on up to Stanton Mi. for the PSMCR, since the main reason of the trip started with a 52 Starlight coupe that my friend Ian bought at Springfield and now is sitting in Kansas City waiting to be picked up and returned to the west coast and ready for it's trip to Australia. Since the trip calls for me to bring my trailer I will be bring John's 63 super red super Lark to Troy where he will meet me and pick it up, along with the car there is a fair pile of other Studebaker parts he has picked up out west, so I do have some room if any one is interested in any parts like fenders , hoods, doors ect. I could do a few items, buy them and get delivered free along my route to and from, 80 east and back through Denver and over to 80 west.

Cool beans, Bob. 'Looking forward to having you at The Pure Stock Drags. BPWe've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

Bob Peterson, I'll have to look into what I may need and get back to you. Good thing you don't have room for another car, or I might be tempted to buy that '63 Super Hawk you recently brought home.sigpic

Nick, what kind of frame, maybe john will let me put it on top of the super lark?? I might be able to stand it along side and secure it down real well ,one never knows, let me know and Brent give it so thought and let me know , the 63 super hawk will be a nice car again but not sure with who, just keep in mind you can not restore one if you don't own one.Candbstudebakers

Bob,
Basically I'm looking for a Lark frame with a 113" wheelbase. I need a V8 frame for a 61 2 door wagon, I believe that they are the same as a 4 door wagon. A 4 door frame should work if I reused the back floor supports from the frame I have.

Could one of those frames be made to fit under an Avanti with reasonable modification? I live 90 miles from Troy and 2.5 hours from Stanton so pickup is not a problem.
Thanks, Bob

Bob P. - Enjoy your "reunion"! Our HS 50th was the big reunion. Then we had a less formal 52nd, when most people are 70, that included a cruise on the Hudson. I enjoyed both of them, but they are just memories now. Have to look forward. Colege reunions/homecomings are just not the same as HS reunions.Gary L.
