                If you see a Lark in your future and get tired of that '40, I know somebody who would take it...

                In that pic you are looking at what is probably two of the best modified Larks in the South Bend area!

                      chris, i have been considering letting it go. i got so many folks at the last couple of car shows asking if it was for sale, i put a small "for sale" sign on it with the price being what it was appraised for before i picked it up: $13,500... a few are interested.

                      OTOH, i'm starting to look for an overdrive trans to put in it to make it a little more comfortable running at highway speeds. since this was an option, i don't think it will hurt the "original survivor" status. if it would, i'd like to know...

                        If you kept the original transmission so a future owner could reinstall it you'd have no issue. Better to have a car that you are happier driving.
