  • Need A Rear Hub 1961 Hawk

    CANCEL CANCEL CANCEL FOUND ONE

I put grease on the rear axle years ago and probably pushed the drum / hub too far. While getting ready for Gettysburg I noticed a very small crack in the hub tube. I want to replace that. I need a hub and or drum with hub attached. I noticed the Chassis Parts Catolog lists this as specific to 60V, 61V and 62V C-K cars PART # 1539462. NOT EVERY FINNED DRUM is the same. If you have what I need I will gladly pay you a handsome price (in Studebaker terms - that may mean a hamburger on Tuesday or an ice water at Gettysburg). Please call 908 489 6943 Jim Glass

When you do find a replacement hub make sure the axle key is installed properly with the tapered part down and towards the backing plate. Having it installed wrong has cracked a lot of hubs.
