  • Working on 1964 deck lid 64 hawk

Anyone here purchased this from Classic Enterprise- Lower Rear Deck Lid

    Repair Strip

Side and bottom are rolled as original. Dimensions = full width x 1" high. Back-up strip included, 2 1/2" high.

Do you have pictures of it? How was it to work with?
Note: I did ask Classic if they would email me a picture of the item they sold. They do not have pictures to email me.

Roy, You don't need the repair strip all you need is a good body man that is willing to do the work, a good one can make what ever is needed.

I used CE's panels, for floors, trunk, braces, etc. and found them perfect for my application. I had a good old boy doing basic bodywork and the more pre-formed pieces, the better. He wouldn't stop, though, and it costs thousands to undo the damage he eventually did. Someone on the forum suggested I break his hand...his putty hand As Bob suggested, a GOOD body man can do it right. But I have no complaints, at all, with Classic Enterprises. Good luck.

For $45 I thought it was well worth it . It's a good shortcut for a body man to use,and saves $200 worth of manufacturing time.
