Steve Fitzgerald has a hood from a 1948 Commander Starlight. Will that hood fit my 1948 Commander Land Cruiser? The one on my 1948 Commander got ruined on a fluke of a pop-up incident....Joe

Yes. They are the same from 1947-49 regardless of body style.

I believe that the extra length of the Land Cruiser and later Presidents is in the rear seat area as the doors are wider to accommodate the the vent window in the rear door.
