I have a gearbox and will be glad if someone can tell from what car and what year it is. The following is cast on the gearbox: T86E-IZ WG DIV. Also: R10F 1E
I also need two syncro rings for the gearbox and who can supply me.
    Thanks, Carl

I was going to say a T86 with overdrive out of a '58 thru '64 Studebaker......but then I got to looking at the case-to-bellhousing mounting ears, the speedometer hookup, and the input shaft, and now I'm not so sure that is what it is.

What did it come out of?

As far as the synchro rings are concerned, it doesn't matter what it came out of, as all T86s are the same internally. Any transmission shop should be able to get them, as they were used in dozens of makes in the '50s.

The front bolt mounting pattern looks more like a Chev than Studebaker. Can you post a full-frontal photo?

The front half looks like the one I have in the barn that came out of a 55 Chevy. But has no OD.
