  • What does this mean?

There is a Lark for sale on eBay with the following as part of the discription.

"Body was restored off the frame and then installed on a shortened and bagged 1997 S-10 frame"

What does bagged mean in this context?

I believe it would mean air bags, for raising, lowering, ect. Would this be that black '61 Lark?

        Dylan's got it right.
I posted a picture of that very car in one of Mr Quinns Posts. http://forum.studebakerdriversclub.c...000#post544000
Inside joke that went right over my head, not sure why I even posted....oh well.

On occasion you'll read, rides on air, must be really smooth
Or Air/Bagged on all four corners. Just as it sounds a bag or shockwave at each wheel, hopefully each bag has its own solenoid valve,....giving independent control, and keeping air from moving from one bag to the other during a turn.

Now there are many way's, to "bag(ged)" a frame. So one should inquire as to what equipment and method was used.
Just as with anything, there's cheap way's and expensive way's to do it.

So when are you taking the air ride leap on the 53?
