steering wheel color 48 champion

does anyone know the colors studebaker used on their steering wheels i have a black 48 champion it had a white one on it but the car has tan int was this the proper color and were there any other choices for a black car?

My 48 Champion is Parkway Green, with a tan interior and a white steering wheel. I suspect that this is the only color they came in.

The parts book does not list colors, just one part number (per application), so white (or off-white) should be correct.
