Credit the Germans for their good taste in cars! They could have used a Mercedes or a VW, but they recognize the 1950 Champion 4-door sedan as a truly hip, swinging cultural icon!

Walter, thanks for sharing the interesting videos. Years ago my wife and I happened on to the museum in Sinsheim and were there almost all day. You are probably quite familiar with it. There was a white 1950 Studebaker on display. The current website doesn't show such a car, but it does have this beautiful Packard. The website is worth looking over, as it has some wonderful cars. I think there was an excellent military museum nearby. Dean Kruse bought a collection and had it brought to Auburn, but I do not know if it was the one that we visited.
