I have an opportunity to buy a Studebaker M5 pickup in good restorable condition. It is generally complete, but has no rear end under it (differential, axles, hubs, brakes, wheels). I was wondering what my options would be for putting a rear end on this truck, especially if I can't find an original one from another M5 truck. Is there something that would perhaps even give better highway performance than an original?
