My grandad, 7 year old cousin, and I drove my '59 to Cairo, GA to the Great Southern Antique Car Rally. It was a lot of fun! 250 total miles on the truck, and no problems what-so-ever, other than it wanting to get a little warm on the ride home. There was a total of 8 Studes there.
I followed this '63 GT most of the way. That's smoke from all the wildfires...
How's THAT for a 'wimpy' Champ 6? [8D] (not going down hill either; had to keep up with that GT Hawk!!)
OK, not a Stude, but those guys are Stude owners, and the owner of the '49 Dodge is also a Stude owner, and a participant of this forum. And the car is just so nice...
Another view of that ragtop.
Also in Cairo, there's a car museum... with FOUR '28-'30 Stude Presidents [:0], as well as other Studes too. The owner of the museum also owns the M5 in the above pics.
1930 Stude fire truck once owned by Emmet (Sp?) Studebaker.
Studebaker buggy.
Leaving Cairo I spotted this...
More pics here...
