  • T-5 finally bolts up to 289.

The brother and I got a day off on the same day and spent a little time checking his T-5 for fit on the truck bell housing. Little by little this project has crept along. The last hurdle was cutting about 3/8" off the end of the bearing retainer. The transmission will finally slide all the way in and bolt up. As soon as we check for clearances and binding it will be ready to go.

Now that all the fiddly little things are done and we know it fits, we need to dial in this bell housing to his engine.

Is this the first post on this conversion? hurdles? was it a difficult conversion? Any more photos, or step by step description of any modifications required?
What make/model T-5 was used? I already have a truck bell housing.
