Almost as rare as the Studebaker is the 1960 Chevrolet Bel-Air Sport Sedan in front of he Studebaker, Jeff. That's a rare model...after all, for only $108 more, you could have an Impala! ...and most people did just that for a "flat-top" in 1960. BP

Almost as rare as the Studebaker is the 1959 Chevrolet Bel-Air Sport Sedan in front of he Studebaker, Jeff. That's a rare model...after all, for only $108 more, you could have an Impala! ...and most people did just that for a "flat-top" '59-er. BP

I think that the car in front is a 1960 Chevrolet. My father traded his 1957 Studebaker Champion in on a 1960 Chevrolet. That was the end of Studebakers for him.

Cliff, you are correct, of course. I had even looked up the price difference for a 1960 model (it is $108) and then turned right around and posted 1959! What an embarrasing brain f*rt. BP

I would have preferred the Impala too. My dad's was a cheap Biscayne my friends father had an Impala. Quite the difference.
