  • Father & Son Studebaker Truck

The first picture is when his dad bought it new in 1949. The second is when his son restored it. Kinda like all in the family. He has brought it to the Tulsa meet a couple of times.

I love reading about vehicles that have been in the same family. We don't see it that often.
I wish I could say that about my vehicles.

I don't the 'after' pic with my dad and me next to my car in digital, but the signature pic is the same car. He and my mother bought it in November, 1949 and I restored it a few years ago without him knowing. It was a total surprise to him when some family brought him and my mother to my house and he saw it. Don't know which of us was more emotional.

I was born 9 months after they bought it, so it and I have been together all of our lives. I think I love it.
