        Now if they would just quit saying that Loewy is the father of the Coke bottle.

        (Say something often enough and it becomes the truth...)

        BTW: The article is a new feature they started. Previous ones included a Fiat parts supplier and a Nash Metropolitan restorer.

          Heh! A year or so ago, I got a "subscription offer" in the mail for Car & Driver. I replied that I simply wasn't interested, because the new-car market had moved so far away from my interests. I really had no need to read about the latest mega-buck Italian exotic car, or even a comparison between current model muscle cars. I think I did mention my interest in Studebakers.

          Maybe somebody there realized that they were leaving some would-be readers behind.
