Luther Johnson: Studebaker race car driver

I found these pictures on the HAMB and also saw them on Ebay at one time. Luther Johnson raced Studebakers at various tracks/races including the Indianapolis 500. He was born in South Bend. He was very superstitious and refused to drive one car when he found a girl had been sitting in it. The link after the pictures gives a lot of history around Johnson.
