  • My newest T- shirt

My brother came to visit this weekend and brought me this T-shirt.
He told me the restaurant has lots of studebaker pictures on the walls.
I will make a trip down to see it soon.

Years ago Ozark Trails spent a weekend at Eureka Springs stayed in the Motel across the street and had breakfast at the Pancake's. We need to do it again.

That restaurant is owned by an ex-Director of SDC. I sold him some Studebaker banners and signs to use in that restaurant. I have never been there.

Since we have eaten at Studebakers Restaurant in Cashmere, WA, we now have added Pancake's to our must see list. Any others out there?

My chicken used the back of the '42 to hatch a batch, must of been 2 dozen broken shells, and ten pounds of pus-sons turds there when I clean it out.
So my guess is they are going for a ride.

This is in Arkansas and when you take the family out for dinner you take the whole family out to dinner!

I didn't know that Mike still owned the restaurant. He was a very good auctioneer at one of our national meets besides being an SDC director. I'm feeling a road trip coming up.

That might be a good place for a joint Studebakers of Arkansas and Ozark Trails meeting in the future. Maybe not too soon as I am sure you are busy with preparation for the International meet.
BTW My granddad always said he liked fried chicken for breakfast so you never know.

Ok that brings up the question, Is that a real Airport Limo, or did they make it? Couldn't have been too many made.

Dave Walkers limo has been written about in Turning Wheels. I don't remember the details. Have to look up the issue later.

Dave Walker's "limousine" was sold new by Studebaker. Studebaker had it made into a stretched airport livery car by one of the aftermarket companies that they used (name escapes me just now). It is one of one. The stretch ended up at Chuck N's in Arizona. Dave brought it east and turned it into a modified "limousine". Cathy and I both have t-shirts with it on them. We have been to Bantam Chef many times even though it is far from routes that we normally travel.
