Need help to Id part

I have two stainless spears each about 2 1/2 feet long.
They have a part number on the wrapper of 1-272760.

Also have a 15 inches wide 'V' chromed, part number P-3722456 - C - 1.

I can't find these in any of my manuals.
I am not even sure that they are for a Studebaker.
They were in a garage of a former Studebaker employee.

The numbers look like supplier/Mfg. part numbers or other make parts. A Pic would sure prove it though.

The way you describe the "V" shaped thing it sounds like the V for the center grille of all 1955 models, is it a chromed casting with white paint on the upper surface?

Found the 272760 in the 36 - 46 body parts catalog.
They are - rear quarter molding for a 1940 4 door sedan- 10a or 6a.

Still don't know about the other part.
I also thought it was for a 55 but it has no paint on it.
