If you are talking about the hood the difference is small but enough that they don't interchange. Hard to tell them apart without having a 62 and 63 hood side by side.

The grill shell on a 62 has a slope to the top rail. A 63 tends to stick straight out.

'62 GT vs '63/'64 GT Grille
A '63 or '64 has a notch cut out of it at the lower outboard corner. The '62 does NOT.

Also one of them has an inset emblem on top. i forget which one off the top of my head. Bet someone will tell us. I THINK it was 1962.

The 63 has a larger inner margin, resulting in the grill positioned with a noticeably deeper inset to the grill surround. The 62 has a more shallow inner margin. DanComment
