  • Two Whatcom Co. members ill

Got home this afternoon to TWO separate emails from Stephanie Bell concerning two SDC and Whatcom Co. (WA) members:
    ________________
Got a call last night that Russ Haggen had a stroke Sunday night and is in the hospital.
I don't know of his condition at this time. Last I heard he was or may still be on a breathing apparatus.
Please send all your prayers to Russ and Hazel.
Their address is: 3218 W. Mcleod Road, Bellingham, WA 98225
    _______________________
Don Colyn is in a care center fighting for his life.
He had surgery on March 5th. His kidney was removed, pancreas was cut and now he has lung cancer.
Saw him last Sunday and he wasn't doing very well.
Please send your prayers to Don and Judy.
    Thank you

I stopped by with Brian Curtis to see Don on Saturday. Don is a great guy and a real Studebaker icon in these parts. He has supplied most of us with parts of some sort. Upbeat, friendly, helpful, knowledgable.

This came on very suddenly. He is not doing well. Go see Don if you get a chance. He'll appreciate it.

I also saw Russ and Hazel on Saturday. It was a shock to hear about the stroke on Sunday. Russ is a young and active guy. I wish him a speedy recovery.

I was deeply saddened to hear from our Chapter Secretary Donna Doran, that my friends and fellow members Don and Russ are seriously ill and hospitalized. I pray that God's will be done in their time of need. Rich.
