  • Nice "Quest for an Avanti" story

    Nicely done story.

    Happy ending.

    Nice story.
It was like that with all my "toy" cars (my Jeep, Bearcat and Avanti).
You want the darn thing, but you're a bit afraid to do it because it's not practical or logical.

But sooner or later you've got to say..."What the heck...".

Cute story indeed. Well done. BP
We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

When a neighbor of mine suddenly died of a brain tumor shortly after he
retired, it taught me a lesson - if you want something : get it. Life is too
dang short to go through it never obtaining something you truely want. I
did this with my '63 Avanti, my '95 Impala SS, and then with my '04 GTO.

BTW .. whats the difference between a "toy" car and a "practical" car?

I fear I have never owned a "practical" car.
