I have several wire wheel covers/hub caps, which I believe to be model AC-2425. I see these advertised for $100 ea and more. What do they typically go for? Are there any wheel cover sources that I can check prices?

Thanks, Mike.

That would depend on the condition, most all Caps and Covers are $75.00 each NEW. Wire wheel Cover center caps are $80.00, the not so desirable 1960's small caps are $40.00.

All are at Studebaker Vendors at studebakervendors.com

The Hub Cap ebay sellers are usually more for used than new, so if you are not an aware SDC member, you WILL pay more!

Kaiser,Nash & Hudson used the same cap with a different center cover. Check their sites for prices it may give you a broader range.Look in Hemmings for Blaser Nash ad from Moline,Illinois. They may have NOS covers and caps, Steve Blaser is to the Nash/Hudson collector what Ed Rynolds is to Studebaker.

As StudeRich usually says, condition is everything. Most of these that come up are going to require work to make them presentable.

Sure wish I had back all the "dog dish" hubcaps I either threw away or sold for 50 cents each (thinking I was lucky to get that).
I bought my first set of five '53 wire wheel covers (one was on the spare too) for $1.50 total. Of course that was in 1966 and from a '53 Commander Starliner in a salvage yard in Hawaii.
