    Hey guys,

On this '52, I got one missing window. The front wing windows and the passenger side front window are cracked, but I can live with those for now. My problem is I can't put this car outside with all the rain we get with out that window! Does anyone have one? A little cracking would be ok, as if I take it to a show the windows will be down. Plus, this car has tinted glass, so having one with that would be awesome, but I can easily get over it if I can't.

    Thanks!

Just have your local glass shop make it. It's cheap, quick and...well, it's quick and cheap. Just use the other side window as a template.

Hmm, good idea! I "think" there is a glass shop around here somewhere......

The only difference might be that the glass shops' modern flat glass is a bit slimmer than the old glass...might rattle in the channels sometimes?? Not a biggie

Have you checked to make sure it isn't fallen down inside the door? Believe me, you'd be surprised...

It looks like half of it is in the door I'll check again though. I really would like a original, since I just like originals, haha! But hey, beggars can't be choosers.

The correct thickness glass CAN be found at the right Shop Dylan.

So, I'm still in need of a window. I checked with a shop, and I'm not ready to plunk down the $$ they want for there windows. No doubt they are good, but I would rather keep searching for a original for a while longer. Anyone got a '51-52 4 door sedan drivers door window?

You mean you don't have one in stock sitting your front hall closet for him, Rich?

BTW: Unless the bottom channel where the regulator arm(s) attach is side-specific, a passenger side will also work. (That increases your chances of finding one...)

Doh! Thanks for pointing out that obvious error, I appreciate it! Yes, the passenger side will work as well

                        sorry dylan

I checked 12 used doors, and I have nothing in ;good' shape. I';d suggest Champparts.com in Idaho for the good stuff. Russ will hook you up if you tell him I sent you.
