I was googling last night trying to find a make-do replacement for the rusty rear wheelwells in my 62 hardtop since NOS parts may be unavailable and my budget is low
I thought about wheeltubs that places like Summet racing sell but those tubs are made from 24 gauge steel and I think that's a bit too thin for my tastes and run around $80. After some more searching, I found an outfit called etrailers out of the St Louis area that sells trailer fender for 15/16 inch wheels with dimensions of 36 x 20 x 10 3/4 and made from 16 gauge steel and runs around $38 or so
I think that these trailer fenders will work and the part will not bust the bank
