  • Bellevue, Washington Dealership Photos/Information?

Does anybody have any information or photos of dealerships in Bellevue, Washington? I know the names of two dealers: Don Merkle, and Eastside Motors.
    Their addresses were:
    DON MERKLE:
1 104th Avenue NE (Now Bellevue Way NE)
    Bellevue, WA
    EASTSIDE MOTORS:
    10502 Main Street
    Bellevue, WA

Tex: I do not recall either of these dealerships that you show being in business during the sixties or even the late fifties. Studebaker did have some really small dealers as we know and these might have been that type. I do seem to recall a small used car lot at the 10502 Main St. location, but that may have been the used car lot for the AMC dealership located on the corner of Main and 104th. If that #1 104th. Ave. NE address is correct, it would have been right across 104th. from the AMC dealership. I sort of recall a gas station there but not sure. If Bellevue had a Stude dealer in 1964 I certainly would have shopped there instead of going all the way into Seattle to buy my Champ PU at the "Studebaker Center".

If I remember reading the 1960-1964 Seattle Yellow Pages correctly, Eastside Motors sold Renaults and Studebakers. I'll check into that.
